Here at k-9 Creations our mission is to provide a great service to the people of Piddington and the surrounding areas. We work incredibly hard to create a calm and friendly environment for dogs.
Under the Five Freedom Animal Health & Welfare Act 2006 a dog must protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease. That is why we have undergone a nationally accredited and certificated course for Level 2 city and guilds grooming, cpd trained, and canine first aid.Our salon has a one dog at a time policy ensuring a stress free experience for your dog. We only use the best natural products and sensitive vegan shampoos that are PH balanced for your dogs skin.
About us
I have always had a love for animals since a little girl and grew up with horses,cattle, poultry and dogs. We got our first family dog (my husband and myself) when we got our first home. We had a little Staffordshire bull terrier named Stella. Stella was the start of our love for dogs. We have owned/bred an array of breeds from Staffordshire bull terriers, boxers, bulldogs and labradors.
I once saw a old friend scanning his sheep and then learnt that he scanned dogs too (who ever knew such a thing existed) this intrigued me so it was something I looked into learning. Alongside ultrasound scanning I learnt microchipping and cytology.
I wanted customers to be able to come to someone they felt comfortable with so have done many courses and still learning to help keep upto date with everything to offer my best. Getting repeat customers I looked at what else I could do in the canine world and then met Samanda. Sam is my labradors groomer and it was her that took me under her wing and allowed me to help out in her salon.. The more she showed me the more I wanted to learn so took my course to complete my city & guilds level 2. Whilst on my course I got a job as a groomer at Dirty dogs pamper parlour. Kiri threw me in the deep end and for that I am forever greatful as she has given me the confidence and pushed me to where i am today. I have had so much feedback from customers and other groomers on how I have produced some fantastic grooms.
I decided to open my books to offer some grooming spaces aside of my fertility services. I have a one on one home salon where I can give your dog/dogs undivided attention and ensure they are relaxed as possible. I am always still learning and will still attend seminars, courses and seek help to make sure I can offer the best I possibly can.

Tooth cleaning
Emmi-pet teeth cleaning is an ultrasonic teeth cleaning service. It is suitable for dogs with mild to moderate tartar build up. It can help heal gum disease, freshen breath, and reduce tartar. I am not a veterinarian, and teeth cleaning is not a substitute for veterinary treatment when a dog requires veterinary dental work beyond cleaning. Owners should be aware that: Removal of even mild tartar can reveal conditions that could not be seen prior to treatment that may need veterinary attention Whilst this method of dental cleaning is highly effective in removing mild tartar, improving gums and mouth health and breath, k-9 creations cannot guarantee the treatments’ effectiveness or suitability for individual dogs due to varying factors such as dogs health, age, diet etc. If I feel any teeth are loose or at risk of becoming loose when the tartar comes off I may request you get your pets’ teeth checked at your veterinarian before treatment. It is possible that the tartar build up will be too great and then a veterinary dental may be necessary initially and then follow up ultrasonic maintenance visits with us. K-9 crestions cannot be held responsible for any problems occurring from poor dentition before, during or after any ultrasonic treatments. Ultrasonic treatment is not a veterinary procedure and I cannot diagnose any problems with your dogs’ mouth.
Canine grooming
Each pet is different and the owners have different requests so we cater for each groom individually. The main priority is ensuring your pet is happy and enjoys visiting
Canine/ feline ultrasound scanning
I am trained and certified in the scanning of both cats and dogs to confirm pregnancy. I can do this from 31days onwards and I can also advise if any infection is visible (pyometra).
Microchip implanting
I am fully trained and certified as a microchip implanter. It is a legal requirement for both cats and dogs to be microchipped
